Parish Council Office
As you will be aware the Parish Office next to Capelli's Hair Studio was closed at the start of the Coronavirus Lockdown. Since the office was opened in 2014 it has received far fewer visits by parishioners than had been expected and it was decided at the May Council Meeting that was held on-line by the Councillors due to the Lockdown that the office should be closed permanently. The following link will take you to a letter from Neil Gulliver, the Council Clerk, detailing how you can contact the Parish Council - Closure of PC Office
Worcester Regulatory Services are currently receiving a high volume of complaints regarding domestic bonfires at the moment as many people are confined to their homes and are spending longer periods of time in their gardens. So if you are doing some gardening and planning on having a bonfire please consider your neighbours in these difficult times and refrain from having a fire until the evening between 7-8pm onwards as this ensures that people get to use their garden through out the day without being smoked out.

The Parish Council has obtained Free SmartWater kits for every home in Stoke Parish. Many of these kits have already been collected by parishioners either at a SmartWater event or from the Council Office. Due to the coronavirus issue forcing the closing of the Office and the holding of further events West Mercia Police volunteers are endeavouring to mail SmartWater Kits to homes within the Parish that had not already collected them.

Mental Health Together
We all experience fluctuations in our mental health and wellbeing, yet many of us still find it hard to speak out openly about this. In the UK around 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health condition each year. Many more of us will experience times when we are feeling anxious, insecure or just trying to cope with the many issues life throws at us.
The ethos of our friendly group is to bring people in the local community “together”; hosting events and activities which encourage open conversations about mental health in a safe, supportive and stigma-free environment, if you’d like to learn more then please click on the icon below
